The Writer's Bloc, an independent group of budding and seasoned playwrights, invites interested parties to join its regular and informal reading sessions of new plays every other Sunday afternoon starting January 8.

Plays read and discussed during these sessions will be considered for presentation in the group's numerous activities like the annual Virgin Labfest. Some of the plays featured in the festival have earned Palanca awards. The Bloc also offers playwriting workshops to interested groups. The Sunday sessions, however, are free of charge.
