GRETCHEN Barretto is overjoyed that she and Angelica Panganiban have made peace. “Angel’s maturity and humility has really impressed me,” Greta said. “I am so happy that any misunderstanding has been completely cleared and forgotten. We are both from the same network. We have a lot of common friends. We both have learned from this experience and we are better persons because of it. I’m definitely in her corner.” May their newfound friendship flourish against all the show biz odds.

Bouncing checks
Bayani Agbayani’s wifey Len filed a case against Johanna Lim Lao (Apol), the sister of Joy Lim of Charms and Crystals. Apol reportedly issued bouncing checks worth P7 million.
“When they were just starting, Bayani would plug their biz for free because they are our friends,” Len said. “Kaya masakit na nagawa pa nila kaming lokohin.”
Wonder if the spell of their charms and crystals will work for the Lims, now that they need it the most.
Top stylist
Congrats to my fave inaanak, Alyanna Martinez, for bagging the Stylist of the Year award in the Us Girls fashion show. Her dad Albert and mom Liezl are mighty proud of her and so am I.
“I was so touched when Alyanna surprised me with an Hermes bag,” Liezl exclaimed. “She traded in three of her Prada bags to buy me my dream bag. Even if it’s pre-owned, mahal pa rin. Albert teased her nga na baka sa Greenhills niya lang binili yun. Alyanna told him, ‘Dad pinaghirapan ko pambili niyan.’”
Liezl is kinda wary, though, about her “mini-me’s” expensive taste. “Since she’s a stylist, she’s exposed to all the luxury items. I keep telling her that her salary is not as much as the celebs’ she styles (laughs). But of course, she deserves all the finer things in life.”
The stylist in Alyanna will always excel in true Muhlach fashion.
