SINUSULONG ng Philippine Basketball Association ang Developmental League (D-League) upang punuan ang pagkawala ng Philippine Basketball League.
Sinabi kahapon ni PBA commissioner Chito Salud na inaasahang aaprubahan ng mga may-ari ng koponan sa liga ang pagbuo ng D-League na tinutularan ang liga na gaya sa NBA. Gagawin ang miting ng mga may-ari Enero 25.
“The PBL has been fully supported by the PBA over the years and it is just so unfortunate that the PBL might not be able to take off this year,” ani Salud sa PSA Forum.
“I hope it’s not a permanent situation, but the PBA cannot be caught napping. We need to act now.”
